Me and DH (dear husband) were married in June 2008, after a 5 year friendship and two year courtship. Tried for babies shortly after. And after. And after. And again. A year goes by and I am starting to have nervous breakdowns at every period. Time for the tests. After all the female ones, I'm fine. So what's the problem. Hubby gets tested. Oh...question answered. Obstructive azoospermia. But he can be a dad!! But only through IVF.
Dec 2009: male factor diagnosis
April 2010: Calgary IVF orientation and PESA by Dr. Green. Hubby can be a dad! (but IVF is our only hope)
October 2010: Egg retrieval and 3 day fresh transfer of one good and two not so good embryos (out of 8 to start with)
November 2010: BFN (big fat negtive)

December 2010: plan B - Colorado. Consult on the 6th with Dr. Minjarez

December 2010: ODWU on the 16th
April 2011: Egg Retrieval. Only one blast lived. 5BB quality. Passed genetic testing. Thank God
July 2011: FET
August 5th: BNF!! and 40th birthday!
